Kate Hall, JD, Mediator
Kate Hall blends her passion for empowering people to find solutions to their own problems with a solid educational background.
She attended Willamette University, graduating with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and a Mediation Qualification. Her academic focus was negotiation and dispute resolution, which she rounded out with a clerkship at the Child Advocacy Section of the Oregon Department of Justice and experience at the Oregon Court of Appeals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the George Washington University.
After graduating law school, Kate worked as a law clerk to the 12 Judges at the Marion County Circuit Court, where she researched legal issues to help the Judges decide cases. While she was there, she mediated close to 300 cases with an 80% settlement rate.
She has completed over 100 hours of mediation training, including a 40 hour training in Custody and Parenting Time Mediation from Clackamas County Dispute Resolution Services. She has completed the International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) Collaborative Divorce training.
Kate offers private mediation. She is on the Marion County Custody and Parenting Time Mediation Panel, and is the mediator for the Manufactured Home Parks in Polk and Lincoln Counties.
